I accidentally made Kahoot! my #2 artist (behind the cast of Glee)

Now, the headline is not something I’m proud of (lie). I totally didn’t mean to listen to all versions of the Kahoot! Theme I could get onto a playlist. Did you know there’s actually 17 versions of it on Spotify, with the newest being released as early as this year? Yeah, fucking crazy.

Fun fact, there’s actually a Kahoot! version appropriate for any situation that may come up in your life.

Need some holiday cheer? The Halloween and Christmas versions are your best friend.

Want something to post your - checks notes - Throwback Thursday post to? Play the 80’s edition.

Need to escape from the crushing reminder that you’ll have thousands in student debts when you graduate? Alexa, play the 8-bit edition.

The idea that you’re a past gifted kid that is so burnt out you can’t figure out how a calculator works weighing you down? Reggae it up, you depressed motherfucker.

And yes, I’d appreciate if we just ignored that the only thing I’ve listened to more than those 16 versions of Kahoot! is the cover of Smooth Criminal by the cast of the hit FOX show Glee (featuring 2Cellos). A cover that, if told to admit a deep dark secret with a gun to my head, I would gladly say is better than the original so the gunman can also improve his own taste in music (sorry Mr. Jackson).

By the way, the 17 does not include the speed up 20-second version when time is about to run out and they’re trying to make you cry. Half of the streams for that specific version is just me playing it on loop as I attempt to finish my essays before 5 pm. Also, a 5 pm deadline? Professors, you’ve driven me to listen to the Kahoot! music in the extreme. Moral of the story: I should’ve just taken speed like a normal college student.

(P.S. Don’t even get me started on my roommate’s top artist being Burger King)
