Rhett Given New Halftime Show “Rhett on Ice: The Musical Extravaganza”

AGGANIS ARENA – Following a remarkable halftime performance at last week’s hockey game, talent scouts in the crowd decided to give Rhett his own halftime show, “Rhett on Ice: The Musical Extravaganza.”

Hannah Davis (ENG ‘18) remarked that she comes “to every game just to see Rhett perform. The hockey team is amazing, but it’s really Rhett who steals the show.” Her friend Jen Smith (COM ‘18) agrees: “It’s no surprise Rhett was given this opportunity. He works so hard to perfect his moves. He definitely deserves this.”

According to Rhett’s new personal assistant and coffee-fetcher Kenneth L. More, Rhett’s performance was “inspired by US Olympic Figure Skater Adam Rippon,” who is currently competing at the Winter Olympic games in Pyeongchang. Rhett’s go-to moves include a flip jump and the incredibly difficult triple axel. His favorite song to perform to? “Who Let the Dogs Out” by the Baha Men, and on special occasions, “Bitch Better Have My Money” by Rihanna.

When asked about the vision for Rhett’s new show, talent scout Dana Caren couldn’t contain her excitement. “I cannot wait for Rhett to begin this next chapter. I can already see him selling out arenas, especially Agganis. Right now, we are in the beginning stages of meeting with Rhett, but we hope to create a show that reflects his upbringing and his personality. Think of it as the telling of an underdog story, but on ice set to music.”

At press time, Rhett was seen signing his contract with a tear of pride in his eye. Ticket sales begin March 15th, 2018.
