After years of over admitting, BU has decided to expand its housing opportunities elsewhere with special care to consider students on a budget. North Campus housing will be a new home for over 2,000 BU students.
Accommodations on North Campus are located conveniently off the BU Bridge in the cozy waters of the Charles. Amenities include 24-access to running water for showers and drinking, as well as a single-person pool floatie for stability. Never deal with a messy roommate again! Room and board is a steal, being 200 dollars less than average dorms.
“I’m saving so much money!” A naive CGS freshman stated.
Forget the battle between East and West campus for dominance, North CLEARLY takes the cake. Instead of getting to SEE the beautiful views of the river, students living in North campus get to be the view! Watch out for peeping toms though, there isn’t much privacy.
There have already been four accounts of brain eating amoeba among students. “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!” An optimistic student exclaimed from their SHSA bed. “I’m just happy to finally be in a real bed again!”
Some students have reported being whisked away by the current, unfortunately ending up in the open ocean. As a precautionary measure, some more buoyant students are being recommended to purchase a navy-grade anchor to maintain their spots near campus.
Housing has even partnered with the Marine Science department to help students identify potential biohazards, giving the program more attention than it ever got from BU.
“This really solves every housing problem we have ever had, I don’t know how we haven’t thought of this sooner!” said BU housing.
