5 Best Spring Break Spots on BU’s Campus

This morning, BU dropped the bomb that Spring Break 2021 has been cancelled, leaving many students wondering what to do for that week that they’re still gonna ditch classes anyway. So, we’ve compiled a list of BU’s most exotic spots for you to check out this non-Spring break!1. BU BeachLay down a towel, put on some shades, and relax to the sound of the waves (cars speeding by on a highway.) This is a great place to chill, bury your friends in the sand (litter from esplanade bikers), and even collect some seashells (dead rodents)!2. Mugar ResortA wonder of brutalist architecture, the Mugar Resort has a ton of fun attractions, like private desk suites with outlets and sexy couples massages in the fourth floor stacks. You can also visit the MLK Museum, full of artifacts BU refused to give back to his wife!3. South Campus CabinsTravel back in time to the 1950s with BU’s South Campus dorms! These rooms are full of rustic charm, including a radiator with a giant metal knob that you have to crank in order to let more heat out. You may even catch the ghost of a paper boy who died of tuberculosis in your very room! 4. Kilachand Haunted MansionSpeaking of ghosts, the Kilachand Haunted Mansion is the ultimate spot for thrill-seekers looking for the ultimate paranormal experience. The fourth floor is haunted by writer Eugene O’Neill, so if you’re lucky, he’ll help you with your essay that’s due tomorrow because there is no spring break.5. Five Michelin Star George Sherman UnionLast but certainly not least, we have critically acclaimed restaurant George Sherman Union, featuring authentic Chinese cuisine Panda Express and an elongated Starbucks. Celebrities have dined here, most notably Seinfeld’s Jason Alexander.
