Tragic: FYSOP Shirt Already Designated Pajamas

WARREN TOWERS – Tragedy struck last weekend when a FYSOP shirt belonging to Lilly Norton (COM '23) was officially designated as a pajama shirt.The shirt, which took hours of sweat and child labor to make, was given to Norton during her 2019 FYSOP experience with Group 52: the Beantown Babies.Norton laid her FYSOP shirt to rest in her pajama drawer, where it joined the likes of her orientation and high school senior shirts."We're mourning the loss of someone in the community," commented Norton’s 2008 Webkinz summer camp shirt. "But welcoming them to a new, inevitable afterlife."Despite the tragedy, The FYSOP shirt had a good run. It was worn a whopping three times in public and will be remembered by the two group photos the Beantown Babies took on their last day together: the Serious One and the Silly One."Maybe it won't be the end of the line for FYSOP shirt," commented an optimistic Foo Fighters pajama shirt. "Maybe it can double up as a rag. Maybe it'll be worn to Late Nite once a semester."Much like her shirt, Norton's FYSOP friends will also be forgotten.
