University Accidentally Sends Out Wrong Tuesday Hurricane Notice

BOSTON—Late Monday night, sources confirmed that Boston University administration accidentally sent out the wrong notification regarding the school’s closure status for Tuesday in the face of Hurricane Sandy.A message sent out on Monday night across various social platforms including Facebook and Twitter as well as BU Today’s website mistakenly informed the BU student body that classes would take place at their regularly scheduled times on Tuesday. “Oh, shoot.” said David Armstrong, a BU employee in charge of updating the school’s various online pages, after learning that he had sent the wrong message. “I knew it was a bad idea to draft both the ‘BU is open’ and 'BU is closed’ letters before the administration officially decided. I guess there’s nothing we can do about that now,” he said, sighing. “Hey, at least the T is running, right?”
